I went to pre order GT4

I bought , the rep said they just recieved word the game has been pushed back, they are not sure till when. This is true though and this sucks

I pre-ordered GT4 about 3 months ago....I have been following all the time, as far as official release date, it is still set for Dec, 14th, am I correct ????
 
When a retailer tells you something like that, without the Sony press release to back it up, just laugh at them and say "Whatever, bub!" They may believe what they're saying, but they're only spouting off what EB corporate has told them to spout off.

I think the retailers are getting jittery because Sony hasn't yet confirmed the Dec 14th date, so they're all worried that the game isn't going to make it out on time. But they seem to be overlooking the fact that the game is already finished.
 
I've just got of the phone, with Mr. Tanaka, from Sony Ent. in Japan, and... he told me: " Relax, will you, you'll get it under the ...tree!!"" 👍
 
GameStop told me january 3rd 2005.. i laughed and said "yeah, just put me down for $10"

I love the Gt series

But to be honest, I think Forza is the game people are going to be attracted to
Online play is very important in todays competitive video game market
and X box has a great online service, I think forza is going to hurt GT

don't judge all us Americans by our worst specimen :). i like Canada, more specifically, Toronto and Montreal, of course. if i didn't live in New York, i definitely wouldn't mind living in those places in Canada 👍

Not necessarily. It's quite possible that GT4: Online could be in stores by the time Forza is. And not all PS2 owners own an Xbox.. in fact, I'd wager a guess at around 8-10% that own both. I don't have one, for example. I won't get into an Xbox/PS2 argument, but the simple fact that I don't own one means that Forza is utterly useless to me. Be it better or worse than GT4, means nothing to me either way.

The fact that they're on different systems makes it very unlikely that it will be viewed as a "competitor". If I were PD, I'd be more concerned with Enthusia, which is a PS2 title.

be prepared to be let down. I would not trust a newspaper at all. They know jack about games...
