Okay, so I know I'm kind of a nobody on the forums, but seeing as the somebody's are busy and have other things to do, I was wondering if I could volunteer myself as a editor to the guides.

Just a thought, if there was a thread discussing this, I didn't see it in my initial search, so future apologies.

Never mind. I looked around the guides, and saw that I have to be an administrator
Sorry for the waste of a thread.

At one point there was a thread to apply to be an editor but that was locked over 2 years ago. Also, nothing has really been done to the Guides in the last 2 years, either. There was a minor edit to change GTPSP to GTMobile and, only because you brought up the guide, I just added an image for GT5:P.

While it has potential to be a great resource, sadly it looks like it's all too often forgotten.

Good luck in getting approved as an editor, scooter. :)👍

Thanks, yeah I noticed that the Guides are MIA.
It looks like somebody was like, "Wow! We could start a GT Wiki!", and then everybody just left it as a WIP(work in progress).

I've got some neat ideas for it. I was thinking about putting high quality US boxes in and editing some of the info. Oh well, maybe when I go Premium(only 80+ more posts!!!), I might get noticed more.

However, Jordan did reply to my introductory thread. So maybe there's a chance. Who knows...

Yes, the Guides are closed and the communal wiki-format will be removed in the next iteration of the site. Originally, it was open for everyone to register and contribute, but people left the site wildly unorganized and it was a significant challenge to keep up with spammers and vandals. Then, I only created Guide Editor accounts by request - that resulted in a lot of work for me, but then almost nothing changed on the pages.
