The Edo Competition 997 GT2 R is based on the 996 GT2 R, which had already been modified in the areas of brakes, suspension, engine, transmission, aerodynamics, exhaust system, interior, wheels/tires and light-weight windows. The only thing missing to be up-to-date is the look of the current Porsche! The conversion kit has been created by Edo to include a new front fascia, front skirt, radiator inlets, brake cooling ducts, widened front fenders, fender liners, mesh inserts, and a carbon fiber front spoiler. Additional exterior changes include a modified fuel door and a litronic headlight kit. The brake system has been upgraded to 15-inch rotors up front and 14-inch rotors in the rear, and the suspension has been changed out for a KW sport suspension with adjustable compression and rebounding damping. Horsepower peaks at 542 bhp, and top speed exceeds 200 mph.

Fix the wing and the front end and this would be an awesome car. Souped up 911s look totally amazing.

What a nice ass!

+1 I got to hand to Edo, finally I see an aftermarket company do a really good 911 variation. I approve.

^ That makes me want to *cough* grab that ass.

I'd have to agree that Edo does an awesome job. 👍
If I'm not mistaken, Edo did a 911 that held a street car record of roughly 7'15 for a while (beaten by the Radical eventually with something like a 6'55).

Any way, 👍 to Edo Comp. 👍
