Do you think that some online races will put us on this track? I think it would be great to see. I know there is an update tomorrow and from what I understand they change the races around from time to time? Has this track ever been an online race option?

Yes there have been races done on this track. It was so very much fun when we raced there. I hope they bring it back.

I think they will put it in the online events again.

I remember in the clockwise direction there is a ridiculously quick downhill slope that when you come off you get some air. THAT would be a blast online. See someone get jumped over dukes of hazard style. I don't mind the bumpers anymore. I think with this new update tomorrow things will improve a lot. And once it is out maybe even more fine tuning will be made in the future. This is the first game that I have ever raced online and to me it is SO fun. Online is the best part. Hope to see loads more options for it as far as tracks and PP. Maybe some special online modes like BMW versus Mercedes, or Honda NSX versus Acura NSX...there are TONS of cool options for races that I hope to see in the future.

I hope they do a FWD challenge there with Pro physics. Good thing is that this track restricts the grid size to 8 cars, right?

Well yeah this track was online not to long ago, although it was a Mini Cooper Race, so it was pretty slow, and not real popular, but if it where to be a standard sports car Race, that would make things alot more interesting. I would say they didnt put it on because of the carnage that would be created, and it would have attracted a lot of 'Smash and Bash' Drivers there, so it would only have been a tease to those genuinely interested in Racing clean. But with update you might see it more often maybe.;)

I do remember a pro race in the early days of GT5P.
Only available in the Japanese version.
It was the Lotus Elise ,5 laps on N-tires.

great memories of that time, every week an update with different races and always the Eiger was used.

Also lots of races on Suzuka-East with the low power cars.

There is a lack of short tracks in GT5P Online, so maybe with uupdate we might see more small ones(More use of London & The Eiger), plus I also think a race with 7 or 8 Laps like what London has now with F1's only, if we could have 7/8 Lap races in normal cars like a mini endurance sort of thing. Its one thing to be able to pull a really fast lap, but can you be consistently quick for 7/8 Laps? That would make for some great Challengers among faster GT Drivers.;)

It might not be as bad with other cars, but it is really embarrassing to get lapped in the F2007 race in London, especially at the start of the 5th lap. I think the guy that lapped me was a wall rider, but still.

I think that 8 lap thing would be great (expect on the 'ring' when it comes out...can't imagine sitting there for 45 minutes to finish 1 race). Esp somewhere like DR, sitting in last place at the start, you need much more then 3 laps to catch a solid driver sitting in P1, even with boost.

Hey man if he was riding walls then you can disregard him completely! That is not Racing...ESPECIALLY in F1 Cars, they dont like walls at all(seen some really nasty acidents). But yeah on a short & tight track like London I would say that maybe it would be better to leave longer Racers to the slower cars, help keep the pack more even. But on open tracks like Fuji 5 laps in evenly matched supercars would be interesting.

yes 3 laps on the Ring could be somewhat tiresome, I would say leaving the Ring at 1 Lap based on how long it is! If it where more than one lap not many regular Racers would enter, it would be a Nurburg Fans Race really. 👍

I remember they did a Tuned Cappuccino race on the eiger in standard physics. I had some great close racing on there. It kinda reminded me of a touge battle of some sort. :)
