Thanks Jack, I think I'm still around 50th, with the tune left-over from the Toscana TT.
It's clear that the gear ratio is very important on this TT, as the top laps seems to remain in 3rd gear for as many corners as possible. It also prevent wheel spin up the hill.
For sure, slow in and fast out wins here.
1. To start with, break early for the first right turn after the jump to get a nice inside line.
2. Break early to get an inside line for the next left right sequence, bearing in mind that your exit angle from the right will be critical for straight line speed up toward the tight right hander later on. A whole second can be lost from even a slightly poor exit angle.
The quick left and right in the middle of the course is critical in maintaining speed through the winding down hill section. Break or just coast a slide into the left hander early so as to straighten up the right hander, thus maintaining greater speed and improving your exit angle to gain more straight line speed for the winding down hill section. Attack the downhill section like the slalom challenge in the license tests. The breaking point to set up the right turn over the bridge is also critical, for if you get through at about 40mph and hit the gas asap, you can really save heaps of time.
In anyway possible, I hope this helps, now all I need to do is drive like I write
