I am considering buying one of those for my moderately good PC. I am curious on what the real differences are in those two games. Obviously Oblivion has better graphics...but what are the real differences in the game that makes the game what it is; such as features; levels; etc.

Also curious...I love exploring, what is the difference in the size of the world in both games...?

Any help and especially any DETAILED explanation of help in differences in these two games would be GREATLY appreciated with +rep :)

A moderatly good PC (by todays standards) should run Morrowwind at max settings. A moderatly good PC will run Oblivion not very well. The real difference between the two? They are completely different games. They are both huge and very open ended as far as exploring go. The stories are very linear though.

I'm getting Morrowind due to price and game running capability.

What are some cool things I can expect from Morrowind :)

I think you'll be satisfied with the map size and amount of exploration. I started the game and spent a lot of time stealing stuff from the first village. But I never finished the main quest nor did I get to the expansion pack portion. Maybe I will pick it up again, now that my PC can't really play the latest games.

Make sure to get the patches if the game is not updated already. I still think there are some bugs after them, like the ability to get to the top level of each Guild if you do it right. Also, IIRC sometimes who you kill affects which guilds you will be able to join.

You can pretty much do whatever you want in Morrowind, it's a very open ended game and once you've beaten everything there are no less then 10,000 mods out there for you to play around with. If you want to be a glorious Paladin, you can be, or if you want to be a dirty thief, go for it.

After you get bored with it though I suggest going on to Oblivion because it's a different game all together....yes the concept is more or less the same, it's a First Person Shooter...errr well you don't shoot exactly. But the game is more in depth and there is more to do and explore.

Both games are great and when you get Morrowind be sure to get the collectors edition or whatever it is that comes with the expansions and the tool set.

The third person is to weird for me, there aren't any crosshairs to tell you what you are looking at.

System requirements lab put my computer a little bit above recommended on Oblivion, so I'll be getting that too as soon as the game of the year (Sept 5th I believe)

...SINCE I LOVE MORROWIND TO DEATH ALREADY! :D

This is so awesome!!!

Oblivion's leveling sucks horribly though. If you want any enjoyment mod it. do you know how much it sucks to see bandits with glass armour constantly at level 40?

Monsters that level with you = defeats purpose of RPG system, may as well made it an FPS.
