Electric Cars and their Restrictions

With new updates coming adding more electric vehicles, the restrictions of use continues...

I was messing around with the "BMW i3" and I was thinking I'd create a custom race with all the electric cars in GT7 and the game restricted me to one-make races, why? The BMW i3 might be electric but it's also an economy class road car too. It still feels like Group X is still in the coding under the surface.

Please PD can you fix this issue, as your about to add the new electric "Yangwang U9 Xtreme" hypercar, and I'm surely not the only one that's going to want to pit it against other Hypercars in Gran Turismo and see how it matches up.

We understand that Electric cars against other vehicles in the competitive space might be difficult but that's what the "PP system" is for, can you please fix this and remove the restrictions. So all future electric and Hydrogen powered models can be used in game properly like actual cars.

Spec Comparison to BMW i3 Electric commuter car

The BMW i3 has a fantastic 0-100 time but its top speed is not very high. When compared to a classic like the 2000 GT-R the cars weight is definitely quite obvious, the weight of the i3 does affect the handling and most electric vehicles drive around on narrower economy tires.
