I am wondering if the battery gets drained quicker when the headlights and horn are used?

Obviously in real life the headlights can have a drastic affect on the charge level in electric vehicles. I was just wondering if this was reflected in GT5.

It does, i've ran 2 laps in route x in the gt by citroen concept(the electric one) at night and 4 in daylight

NOOO WAY :D

I'm skeptical. I would like it to be true.

If that's the case, I wonder if holding down the gas pedal while parked wastes gas.

Well in the citroen you CAN charge the battery a bit if you stand still

Any examples of this?

Electric vehicles don't have an alternator like your usual car and everything just runs off the battery, thus putting a larger load on the battery (horn, lights, radio, etc.) will affect your range. It might be slight, but it'll still shorten your range. As for GT5, I don't know. Grab a Leaf/Tesla and drive Route X with lights on and off? I'm curious myself now.

I don't think so, I haven't heard of anyone testing it.

Guess who's gonna try this!

Also does full beam and dimmed affect it?

I would think they would not get THAT technical, but I am so curious to fund this out. This is gonna be a long night, Im gonna use the Tesla so I run out faster XD

Nope, no difference at all. Sorry guys, PD hasn't gone this far yet LOL
