Well i want to change this thing on my dfp. I need to know, when you have a plug that goes into another plug like for a circut on a mother board, if i was to make the wires long by stripping them and adding more wire, do i need a certain type of wire or would i need wire of the same type, say silver wire. So im asking do i need the same type or a specially designed piece.

Preferably a similar wire with the appropriate solder. Just go to Home Depot or or a computer store (hardware or computer should do), and just ask a couple questions. They'll set you up with everything you need, or give you any advice you may need.

 

[Solid Lifters]

You need 'hook up wire' for your intended use. Get it at a hobby shop. It's cheaper than going to a electronic or hardware store.
