So how do you guys (that have managed to beat these events) handle the horrible car they loan you?

Ive cleared the GTR event in 1th place, but cant even complete a lap on the Viper or Lexus events...The cars handle just horrible.

I drive with DFGT.

just keep going till you master the track, seems impossible at first but once you get the turns and shifts down you will be able to win this. Lexus event seemed easier.

I've done the first with the viper and the third with the gtr on hard, just be super agressive. But the second one with the lexus in shangai... i wasn't able.. i had to lower it to medium difficulty and still won by a small margin.. that car sucks and the track also, impossibile to make clean overtakes.

push hard coming over the bridge and brake late coming into the first big right and that should put you in 3rd. found i could put a lot of distance on the AI coming off the bridge aggresive but not to crazy. fly through the next section of quick turns in 2nd gear if you can carry the speed and down shifting on the last sharp turn. I found this the easiest part of the track to make passes and pick up ground if you take the inside line.

you should be in 2nd heading to the straight that has the huge jump. don't go balls out over that jump, that will put you on 1st places bumper. from there you have plenty of time to make the pass for 1st where ever your comfortable the rest of the track.

It took me about two weeks of trying before I beat the Viper race. When I finally did I was about 3 seconds ahead of 2nd. The trick for me was getting control of the gearing...

Keep trying. If you keep losing, eventually the AI will handicap itself to your level and you'll be able to get them. Some of the cars handle poorly, but just keep at it and eventually it will come together. Frustrating at times, but you feel good when you finally pull it all together.

I thought the Viper handled pretty good actually. Once I learned the track and got used to the cars handling, it wasn't too difficult.

After beating the GT-R I did the Viper. Learn the track and keep those gears in the right place. Be mindful of throttle control.

As for the Lexus is the same but it helps a lot to ignore the line colour on the jump after the bridge (where you start) :)

Don't forget to pause/unpause the game after the race already started (for any rolling start event). Should help sort out the FFB, which could contribute to the handling problems you're having.

The lfa handles like a dream and the viper you need to change down to 1st on all slow spped corners. apart from that, once you know the corners its easy as.

Coming out of slow speed corners is hell with the Viper and worse with the LFA. Floor it near touching a "rumble strip" with the LFA and its a sure spin...

But I tend to have the most sensitive setting to my pedals and wheels i can manage. Its a constant remind of how throttle control is important :D

I tried that Viper race about 20 times and finally just set the difficulty on easy. Watched the two cars ahead of me slide off the track and I drove past them.
