I'm fed up with this car, it looks beautiful, but its so hard to keep under control. You could be winning a race coming around the last turn, you brake too late and you lose control.. And that's it, you wind up finishing 8th or something.. Can't seem to find a consistant tune for this thing

Yeah, this is a hard car to drive. I drove this car all the time in Spec I, and with a good setup you could correct mistakes easily, without traction control. Now in spec 3, it's a different story. I'm actually back on it now (for the challenge) but as you said, you need to really stay awake with this car.
If it helps, here is my setup for susuka pro 750:

Power +35
Weight 113%
Tyres R3-R3
Aero 17-35
Ride Height -10f/-5R
Spring rate 5-8
Damper 5-5
Toe -0.06+0.06
Camber 2.5 - 2.8
Brake 6-4
Max tuning angle 30
Traction OFF
ABS 1

1st: 2.690 - 85
2nd: 1.906 - 120
3rd: 1.562 - 147
4th: 1.242 - 185
5th: 1.016 - 226
6th: 0.855 - 285

final: 4.411 (excellent transmission settings from Melbourne Park)

My setup is not as grippy as others, but you can get the car back when it snaps (R3 tires). just do it smoothly. Any aggressive moves on the wheel will cause over steer and loose of control.

This car needs a lot of practice before heading up to online racing. I actually think this is one of the most realistic car to drive. What really annoys me is that the 1st gear is very slow. I end up being overtaken by everybody at the start, but then I catch them in the corners.
Don't use traction control for this car or you will loose too much power and you need it for a 750 point race.
