Email account problems

I have a hotmail account and recently in my inbox ive been getting loads of emails from 'postmaster@hotmail.com' saying my emails ive been sending to random people have failed. I clicked on the email and this is what ive apparently been sending out to people:

We are a large trading company from china,an agent of all the well-known digital product factories,and facing to both wholesalers,retailsalers,and personal customer all over the world. We export all kinds of digital products and offer most competitive and reasonable price and high quality goods for our client ,so you can make a big profit.Please feel free to contact us if you have any questions or you find the articles you like.We will offer you best service.

Also a few of my friends said they have received random emails from me recently. Any ideas on whats going on and how to stop these emails being sent?

Do you only use the web interface or do you have it on a mail client too?

It may be that someone is spoofing your account.

Or someone has access to your account and is using it to send Spam.

If you google "large trading company from china,an agent" you'll see that many others are getting the same issue. There may be a way to solve the problem listed.

By 'web interface' you mean log on though hotmail.com? If so then yes thats the only way I use my email
