Email notification...

I have noticed that email notification will often take me to the wrong post. Either to the beginning of the thread, or a few pages back, or just to the same post I've already read a dozen times.

Does anyone know why this is? is there anything I can do about it?

I don't have a email notification link on hand, but I believe the location you are taken to will be relative to the last time you visited the site. If your account was still logged in (before timing out) when you clicked on the link in the email, it would erroneously take you to the post that was new when you first visited the forums. But, to be perfectly honest, I'm really not sure. I've also experienced this phenomenon on other vBulletin forums, and I have yet to develop a definitive explanation for it.
