Emergency Brake

The emergency brake is the key component in powersliding. By Slamming the E-brake, you can cause your rear tires to lose traction and throw your car around a tight turn hellaciously fast. It takes a long time to learn, and only works well with powerful rear wheel drive cars, but is REALLY cool to watch, and can shave seconds off of a lap. I cant do it, but a friend of mine can. He can tear up SS11 in GT2 in about 15 seconds less than I can do it in.

I sometimes hit it to try to slide sideways into a wall instead of going head first and having to back out. (last resort)

I use it on rally occasionally to swing the back end around a turn. I'm not skilled enough to use it on pavement.

Heh, i have used it for all of that... for fun, preventing a head on with a wall, powersliding, i use it for a lot.

Hahahahahhah Saweet. I thought it was just there for the realism of the game. We should have blinkers to fake out the opponents. No we shouldnt I'm stupid.

The problem is with GT3, the "E" brake it locks "ALL" four tires, where in GT1 and #2 it only locked out the rear, and allowed you to bring the rear of the car around, now it seems that everytime I use it now, I go head first into the wall (POW) knowwhatimean!!??

Lol, somebody was following us one day and we did the classic left turn signal but turn right...it was night time so it actually worked, lol. hehe, they were following us cuz we were cruising the strip(i don't know if all cities have strip cruising or not, heh) and we were trying to piss some people off and it worked a little too well, hehe.
