I was bored and reading through old threads, and came across a number of posts where the person casually makes mention of their (insert awesome car here,) or of indecision between buying (another awesome car) or (yet another) and going to test drive both. Or some of the CRAZY cockpits over in the wheels/cockpits forum. Stuff like that.

And I got to wondering... What do these people do for a living?

So what pays the bills, people? What do you do for money?
Anything particularly interesting about your job?
Optional: About how much does your career path pay?

And let's keep it legal. ;)

I'm a mudlogger. I work on drilling rigs (mostly land,) monitoring different well parameters, and examining formation cuttings suspended in the drilling fluid or "mud," that's circulated into and out of the well as we drill.

There are times when I will have NOTHING to do for days on end. But I still get paid to play video games and screw around online.

My job pays anywhere from $40k-$60k/yr, depending on experience and the company by whom you're employed. I'm on the lower end of that scale, but my company is really good to their loggers.

gas station attendant, im not buying any cars any time soon, my only ride is the Austin capital metro bus. but hey it's $30 a month

Perhaps on your reading through of old threads, you may have came across this one?
