End-all Be-all car in prologue? :(

I don't have prologue yet as I am from USA, but I was first happy then a little disappointed after finding out the f2007 would be in prologue. Does anyone else think its kind of dumb that they put probably one of the fastest cars even in gt5 into the prologue? Was the formula one car in gt4 in gt4p? I feel like if we are so used to playing this car with godly handling and accel. won't it make all the other cars feel boring in comparison? What benefit does the f2007 give you when your playing prologue? We all would have been happy with some marvelous touring car as the final unlockable in prologue, so why spoil the game with the f2007?

Anyone else feel this way, or are you guys too busy saving 2mil credits? :yuck:
 
You make a valid point, but then we don't know what will be in GT5 yet. There will still be a lot of suprises and for me personally GT has been about more than simply moving from slow cars to fast ones and when you have the fastest, end of. Like I said, you have a valid point but personally it's less of an issue for me.
 
i like the idea of a little taste of everything in gt5p. the formula cars are fun to drive but in the old gt games i really didn't use them that much anyway. i liked the slower cars that i could compare real life driving to. but i am glad they put a little if everything in this edition for us to try out.
 
^^ Thanks for your opinion. I know every car will have its differences, and will give a unique driving experience. I know gt5 will be the best game made no matter what, and I'm going to play it into the ground, but its just the point that the f2007 is such overkill for prologue and wish it would have been reserved as a very special reward in the final game. Makes me feel like gt5 has a lot in store for us though. (more model f1 cars? Some magical machine faster than the f2007?)

When I get my hands on gt5p I certainly wont go straight for the f2007. Just seems like overkill unless you have other cars in that class to race.
 
First time I've heard people being offended because PD spoiled the game by adding fast cars.
 
^^ I have nothing better to do, You guys spend all your free time playing prologue while us USA people have to just dream about it untill it comes. Maybe im just complaining because I don't get to play. :P
But still, I think the f2007 should have been a special treat in gt5 like the f1 in gt4.

I like to drive to more slower cars, it pushes the driver harder to get the max out of it. Lancia Delta, Brera, but also the mini. Its just fun to drive. Well I must admint that a really love the Ford GT Tuned Car..:)

Huh? Don't speak for all of "us". I'm in Michigan and I've been playing almost nightly since the first week in January.

Why didn't you import it a couple of months ago, you could have been playing with the rest of us?


There will be things about this game, whether it's cars or aesthetics that will be far beyond what you expected or even hoped for.
 
^^ True. I can't believe I never ordered the JP version, but I thought USA's would be right behind due out Feb. Then when that date was pushed back I was like ok 2 more months. I was fine with it untill I found these forums, now gt5 is all I think about and I have gt4 running in my ps3 right now lol. I was obsessed with gt4 and can't imagine what gt5 holds in store. My origional post still stands, I think PD should have given us something else rather than the f2007. Maybe a ferrari touring car?
 
Be all end all? Why would you think that? The car is only recieved after beating everything and purchasing all the cars. I hope they add more cars, including many from GT2, like the Vector LM and the road version and the Venturi Atlantique 600LM.
 
well if all of ferrari is going to be in it. than we can not forget the FXX, iv seen those keep up with other ferrari F1 cars.A nicly tuned one can prolly be faster.
