Endurance events...wouldn't it be great if...

When it comes to endurance races, drivers in the real world do stints shared between teammates. Wouldn't it be great if you did an endurance race with the stints shared between you and your b-spec drivers? It would have tied a and b spec in nicely together, added a tactical element to racing when you're not driving and been more realistic. A missed opportunity by the developers perhaps? Although no doubt it would have added to an already long development time...
 
If they let you use your bspec drivers in aspec races it would defeat the purpose of both sets of endurances because you would just use your bspec drivers to race your aspec endurances
 
I've only been racing the Gt series since GT4 came out so I'm not sure what happened before that but you could do just what you suggested already in 4... The moment you switched from A-spec to b-spec however you foreited any A-spec points and from that moment on you were only rewarded with a b-spec accomplishment...And as SopranoStylle said,it defeats the whole purpose of endurance racing...I did the Nurburgring 5 times A-spec in GT4 and it's not the pain in the rectum some will make it out to be!...You do need to do the time though...My best advice is to not watch the clock.

yep agreed! I'll be getting 3-5 mates over and doing it in shifts with prizes awarded for fastest lap, sector & what I call "fastest session" where you time say 10 laps and fastest ten lap session gets a prize, probably beer haha :-)

That sounds fun, may well do the same when i get to the 24hr, will be hard finding some friends that would be willing to put in hours of racing, although the the thought of beer may help them :)

Beer will always win brother! it's a great idea man and ya get drunk in the process! another idea for a prize: Fastest lap driven one handed with a beer in 2nd hand! not easy to drive MT with a beer and keeping a decent time but damn it's fun trying!!!

bahahaha! dude I gotta tell ya... no one in Aus drinks that ****!! I'm serious too, most bottle shops (read: LickHer stores) don't even sell it because it's prob the WORST BEER ever made! somewhere in history the space time continuum got farked up & fosters became the Aussie brew :-(

Try Coopers Sparkling Ale, Pale Ale or Cascade Stout & Boags Premium Lager for our finest ales!!!

Not true. You'd lose those races because your b-spec drivers would run out of strength since you're not helping put. Probably. Try doing an e durance with 1 less driver than it allows, and you'll see.
