I'm Barn One.
I've been racing this game since release, and am basically tired of day care sitting useless people in public rooms.
Me and a few other guys have been running endurance racing once a day almost every day.(for months)
The problem is the lack of good clean and curtious drivers.
We used to run only the 24 hours of Nurburgring track but have since started running on other tracks.
Possibly instead of Race Softs we have been thinking of switching to Sports Softs just to add a bit more realism.
The rules are simple, no rage quiting.
No dictating room setup.
No course cutting/cheating/bashing etc.

The races last mostly about an hour and forty-six minutes but can go for just an hour. Full damage, track conditions real and sometimes full penalties are used. The race starts anywhere from 10am to 12pm. Eastern Standard Time. (mostly) The races are run by PP with the those being set at 500 for now.
(that can change as well)
There are no prizes to be won of any kind. Just personal satisfaction in finishing a good race.
We're not hunting for the best, just drivers that know and prefer race craft to attempting "being fast".
Also no driver aids allowed except abs.( non negotiable )

If interested add yourself here, i might not check back every day so be patient but if your on and you see either TEAMworkPLEASE or Granddriver or Barn_One as host during that time in the public rooms, feel free to join.

Just to let you know, if you drive like crap, rage quit, complain in a non humorous manner, etc., you WILL be removed and no longer welcome.

P.S. Most times when we run It's run whatever car you want that fits the PP.
Unless Specified to a certain car/make/etc.
I'll use this thread to put up changes as well, right now it's GT300 cars and the smaller class race cars.

I do race with these Gentlemen. It is very good, clean and fun racing and all well hosted. Well stated Barn, and I hope this gets some good drivers (and more importantly) good people interested in racing with us.

hey guys this is not really a racing series so I don't if it should be here tbh, but if you want to meet some good GT racers this is the best place to be.I personally would suggest you and your mates join someone else's series and meet some new racers. There's alot of good series on this website and the people who run them put alot of effort and time into them.
 
Sorry but i won't be joining any series.
I don't care about their efforts.
If that sounds harsh oh well, if i or the others was wanting a race series, we knew where to look thx.
If this is in the wrong place a mod can move it, delete it and messege me on where it should go.
I put this up looking for Endurance minded drivers, not series racers who are looking for teams and points and balanced out classes etc.
We run almost every day at least one hour-ish long race.
We run on different tracks with different cars.
Full damage and sometimes full penalties( for the new drivers test).

Todays race will be the GT500 Xanavi Nismo GT-R.
Fully upgraded at Fuji F.
Remember, this i just a show up and race clean race.
No gifts,no points, just personal satisfaction.
 
My point was you will meet alot of like minded drivers this way, 90% of the people on this website are good clean drivers who are just looking for some good racing. I wasn't trying to be rude or get you to do anything you don't want to do, I was just suggesting an idea thats all.
 
A lot of the races in this forum are that kind of length 👍 You should really check out some series, the majority of people here are great guys and clean racers.
 
I have raced with all three guys mentioned in the OP lots of times before and no doubt lots of times in the future.

They are all top notch gentleman on track and a pleasure to race with.

I have never had any issues in a room hosted by Barn_One and can't recommend this guys races enough 👍

Quite tricky for me due to time zones but when I'm on I will race in any event you guys have going :)
 
I understood what u were saying greennarcotics. We are involved in a few race series and u do meet people who are dedicated. The reasoning for posting is the lack of options in the online menus. Hard to find certain races unless u know where to look. At least 5 days a week we are racing around the same time and like real clean fun racing. Think of the racing we do, at this time, practice for race series.

GreenNarcotics no harm no foul, but after ten and a half months of "people who just wanna go fast", but either rage quit or cry about the room setup etc etc, i'm a tad non positive about the Gran Turismo community as a whole.

Honest at the moment i'm not interested in a series race but trust me i know where to look.
I just like turning on my game and knowing i can have a good realish race with a group that stays and not have to worry about the points,teams,etc etc.

Like Granddriver said, think of it as practice or keeping in top shape.

Yes we are still racing, ame time as first posting.
If you miss a race, don't worry, there's at least one a day or every other day.
You don't gotta worry about points, teams, etc just show up and drive clean as possible.

If you doon't like the cars being used that day, try again the next.
We do suggestions (within reason) as well.

These guys race all the time, every day basically.

If you add Barn_One just join his lobby when you are on, you will find good racing wherever he is at :)

No set times or dates ;)
