endurance prize car problem

I wanted a F1 car as soon as possible so I figured I should run some of the endurance races. All the prize car listings say Laguna Seca has two F1 cars as possible prizes. This is a 50% chance I'm thinking so I'll run that race first.

I get gold easily and to my surprise there are only 3 shadow prize cars spinning around. Of course I didn't get the F1 so I don't even know which one it was but this seems very odd to me. Its the only championship or endurance race that I've seen award 1 of 3 cars instead of 1 of 4, and it contradicts all the prize car lists I've seen.

So has this happened for anyone else? I'm playing the American version.

By the way... I got gold on all 10 endurance races and didn't get a single F1 car awarded. Of course the automatic one was given to me for golding all the endurances however - but what bad luck huh?
 
All i can say is congrats on not winning one, the game is so much better without the f1's but i won my 1st f1 car in the super speedway enduro on the first try it was my 5th total race.
 
i had to win super speedway twice to get my f1 car and ive dne seattle twice and havent got the f1 car! ita a bit annoying when u get a crappy clio sport instead. If uve won an f1 car at least youve earnt it but the escudo sort of shoots any use of skill involved. i aint got it yet tho!
 
I appreciate the comments and replies but the question was, Has anyone else seen 3 possible prize cars awarded on Laguna Seca instead of 4? Thats the only time I've seen it happen and it contradicts all the prize car lists I've seen.
 
I only saw 3 and i think that is normal, i also heard from a guide that there are only 3 available, but of that three, either of the F1s can be in there.

Ooooh, ok that makes a little more sense. Still better odds of getting a F1 on that race than any other though. 33% instead of 25% ;) ;)

Doh I'm sure the would have ruined the game ZC but I've completed all major races thru AI liscense already so I was due for a F1.
 
I managed to get an F1 car on my second attempt at Speedway Endurance race, I have done the Seattle and Tokyo Endurance race but have been unable to get an F1 car from either.
I'd have to agree the F1 cars do make it stupidly easy to win races (sub 1 minute laps on Midfield Raceway!!) but they are excellent to drive, their tyres seem to be made of superglue when their new!!!

I've now golded in 15(!!!!!!!) endurance races and not won a random F1
 
LOL! I had the same thing happen to me. I was racin Laguna Seca 200 because a strategy guide stated that there are 2 F1 cars, so I also though it was 50/50. To my surprise there was only 3 shadow cars, and only 1 of them was an F1. Of course I didnt get it.
 
hey i must be ultra lucky because i have won 5 polyphony 001s and 3 polyphony 002s , virtually on my 1st attempts only a couple i had to reload:D :D
 
Well dammit I FINALLY won a random one after 16 endurance golds.

Great Job! :) All research lists the 2 F1 cars and the other 2 cars, hummmmm maybe a glitch.

Right now (as I'm typing) I'm trying ot get the F094/H by beating the TRIAL MOUNTAIN 2HR. ENDURANCE. I still got 1hr.25min. to go though. I take breaks like every 15 mins.
 
hehe, i just play it through with one break in the mid otherwise it wrecks your racing pattern
 
Woo-hoo! I beat it. It must be my lucky day cause I got a F094/H in black! I did 80 laps in those 2 hrs. with the GT1 Road Car.

Someone has already cleared it up. You are awarded 3 possible cars. One of them is always a F1, but it can be 1 of 2 different F1s.
 
My experiences with the F094/H that I got yesterday are a mixed bag. It has better handling, acceleration, and top speed than the F090/S, but has a serious problem with tires. By the end of the 2nd lap my tires are YELLOW! With the F090/S they'll turn yellow in 6 laps. Still I think that it's great, and rivals my F687/S in accel. and top speed.

maybe you're a little out of control then? I don't have a problem going 7 laps til yellow on virtually any track with my 094
 
Until now I have raced three endurance races, and got TWO f1's - I guess I'm one of the lucky few..:D

Only problem is that I didn't want the second F1, because I think that the F1's kinda ruin the challenge of winning...Way too easy, so I don't use them.. But great fun in two player games....
