As anyone tried getting a couple laps ahead and then blocking the pit so the AI can't get through..do you think this would work

I think it wouldn't work as because as soon as you enter the pit, it'll reset you and activate Cruise Mode. And plus, the AI will try everything to get pass you if you attempt to block the lane. They would even risk going onto the grass/sand to pass you.

Yea you are probably right..I was thinking to block it off just before it switches to auto pilot by parking diagonally..I'm gonna give it a try on my next enduro

Perhaps you can if you park only a couple of feet off the pit lane entrance, but the AI will still attempt to pass you any way they can, unless there's walls around you.

Yea it can be done, theres certain corners where the AI will take one line only such as carrousel at the Nordschlief, a member done this in the A-Spec 24hr race and just left his car there until the 24hrs were up then completed that lap. There was a topic about it before if you do a search :)

Oh yeah, I remember that. A person would need a Tank Car to effectively create a blockade. Perhaps the same could be done at the pits..

Yea I read that but he said the AI crashed into him and all that I was wondering if it would work if you just parked it yourself

I've tried it and it doesn't work. The other cars will eventually find a way around and you will end up finishing in last place. Maybe the Tank Car is big enough to create a blockade that's unbreachable, but how on earth are you gonna get a few laps ahead of the others in that car?

I tried parking in front of the pit exit with the Tank Car once, the AI drove right through me like I was a ghost. The only way blocking the track would ever work in this game is if they add a motorhome.

you can block at the "drive in, and out" of the pitlane, but you must do something all the time, drive back because they bump in you set back, bump in you and so on..
