Hi guys,

I'm part-way through doing Le Mans 24h, got to about 30 laps (2 hours and 15 minutes or so) and suspended.

Since rejoining the race my car seems slower, I was gaining 15-20 seconds per lap on 2nd place before I paused it and now unless I drive the fastest laps I've ever done, he gains a second or two.

This might not seem like an issue, but I have 21.5 hours left, it's just my luck all those seconds will add up and in the last hour, I'll get over taken. Something I'm not prepared to accept.

Nothing in the race has changed, the surface water has been 100% since the start and still is, I'm using the same tyre set up, but now my Jaguar XJR-9 LM Race Car '88 seems to top out at 225MPH whereas I could have sworn it was reaching 232ish before.

Any ideas?

Thanks.

Maybe a chassis reinforcement, thats my guess. When I did the 24hr in gt4 my 787B started becoming wayward 20hrs in & completely undrivable by the 22hr mark could not finish the race, I was furious. Some other guys on here may be able to help you as well, but your better off withdrawing now 2hrs in then 20 & recheck everything. Good luck.

Before this race I hadn't used the car since I got it off the DLC, surely it wouldn't be a chassis issue?

I was talking about the chassis reinforcement from the tune shop that costs 20k, not the 500k rebuild from gt auto. If your lap times are suffering that has nothing to do with AI. Hope you get it sorted.
