Endurance Races Added to GT6?

Hello, I was wondering if there is even the remote chance that endurance races will be added to the game? I still have 1,800 miles to drive out on the game, and I would like to drive those last miles out by enjoying some endurance races (rather than having it take forever by doing each of the seasonal events that are released every two weeks or so).

This is the only thing that I have left to complete before I get the platinum trophy, which I am very much excited about! I wasn't able to get the platinum in GT5, but I'm definitely happy about being so close to getting it in GT6.
 
If you don't consider the 24 minute races "endurance" (No way anyone can actually call those endurance races.), then you're out of luck. Nothing other than the course maker and some new cars (most likely Vision GT) will be added to GT6. The following was from an interview back in June of this year:
JVL : Will there new cars and new tracks in Gran Turismo 6 ?
Kazunori : There will be new cars, yes, but not new tracks
JVL : Possible to add more customization options for GT6 ?
Kazunori : For now, the only planned update concerning the course maker

Yes that's correct, there is no way I would consider the 24 minute races "endurance" races. So then at this point, I will just wait until the Course Maker is added and play around with that. Thank you for your response, I appreciate it!
