I have been interested for a long time in running an endurance series. I'm hoping to find some real good racers who'd want to do the same.
Some races would be based on real life races, and others would be original. Race lengths will vary and be based on time.
Races: (Not in specific order yet)
Le Mans (4 hours / 24hr sim)
Nurburgring (4 hours / 24hr sim)
Spa (3 hours)
Monza (2 Hours)
Fuji (2 Hours)
Suzuka (3 Hours)
Laguna Seca (2 Hours)
Daytona (3 Hours)
Indianapolis (3 Hours)
Cote d' Azur (2 Hours)
Madrid (2 Hours)
(Weather/time change on when applicable)
Race Settings:
No assists besides ABS will be allowed.
Damage and penalties will be set to weak (enforcing clean and respectful driving)
I am fairly open as to when we run the races, so as you post your interest you can suggest your most favorable times and days.
As far as what we'll race, there are a few options I would be interested in and would like input from participants to decide.
Option 1
Le Mans Prototypes (All, new and old) at 675pp limit
Option 2
All GT LM Race Cars & RM's at 600pp limit
Option 3
Le Mans Prototype Group C Race Cars at 675pp limit
Option 4
Le Mans Prototypes (1998 or newer) at 675pp limit
Option 5
Le Mans Prototype Closed Cockpit Race Cars at 675pp limit
Option 6
Le Mans Prototype Open Cockpit Race Cars at 675pp limit
Option 7
GT LM Race Cars Division 1 at 650pp limit
Option 8
GT LM Race Cars Division 2 at 600pp
Manufacturer Limits
Under any of the division options we will be running with a limit of 3 entries per manufacturer regardless of the car's model.
Tire Rules
Under any of the division options we will be running with tire rules. These tire rules are as follows.
Each driver must use 2 sets of Soft, Medium, and Hard Racing tires each throughout the race in any order they so choose.
Rolling Starts
We will have rolling starts, meaning there will be a pace lap. Everyone will give plenty of space to all cars around them during the pace lap.
Coming off the final corner cars must double-file.
Odd positioned cars will line up based on direction of the first corner. (For example, if the first turn is a right-hander the odd positioned cars will line up on the right side of the track).
Each line of cars must have half of thier car crossing the grid-lines on their respective side of the track and cannot make any passes before the start/finish line.
