Enduro, Le Sarthe 2 24 Hour bug?

On the PAL version.
Mulsanne straight the car steers on full lock in either direction until it almost stops, then it soughts itself out and carries on its way for another 1-8 laps and does it again.
 
never noticed perhaps your car is bottoming out as the Mulsanne straight is extremely bumpy.
 
I think the AI gets confused with La Sarthe 1, cos it steers both left and right (as if its trying to take imaginary chicanes) and it doesn't happen on Sarthe 1. Its quite disheartening.
 
Same thing here on the PAL version. If you increase the ride height by about 3 to 4 MM it tends not to do it. I think it's the front end clipping the bumps and he then over compensates for this hitting the wall hard seems to confuse him for a bit, most cases he will also turn to early for the chicane on 1 :crazy:
 
Increase the ride height. It's no bug, the AI cars do the same. It just means your ride height is too low on the bumpy surface there.:)

Yeah i always increase my ride height for de la sarthe, so ive never experienced this problem.
 
yeh ride height is the key on the straight, was doing it in the world circuit tour in the minolta and when slipstreaming past other cars it didnt like going side to side at top speed.

Seems the general consensus is that Ride height is the key & that by Higering it, u lessen the chance of cliiping the ground and losing all control this throwing you in either direction, i doubt its a glitch, but the fact that it happens in different laps could mean you are taking corner before mulsanne better or, going down a less bumbpy part of mulsanne,

Hmm I've never seen this before. The only thing I've seen is my car getting stuck in B-spec.

lol, my hate of gt4, nothing worse last lap of Laguna seca Enduro , & he Crashes and reverses, then drives forwards and doesnt get anywhere, so i have no choice but to reset and repeat,
 
I have my fast cars, that have a lot of downforce, suspension height at least 15% higher than the minimum height. I've never had a problem of bottoming out on any course.

Try it. Also, set the spring rate to at least 45% of minimum setting. If the car is MR, which most fast cars with tons of downforce usually are, then set the rear spring rate and suspension height to at least 10% higher than the front settings.

Very Nice , I'd say Sauve comeback, Also Id agree, if b-spec broke, these guys would be screwed, and would have to race 24hrs for F1 before even attempting the Gt Champs. :P

that about raising the ride's height might be the solution.

I A-Spec about 6 hours of the 24 hour at Sarthe II, then B-Spec the rest. I only saw this problem occur once. But now I am driving the Formula Gran Turismo Championship Series. It's Hell fun and I am doin it all on A-Spec.
 
Luigi just randomly braked one time going down the straight, he braked down to 40 or so and then all of a sudden accelerated away like nothing had happened. wtf, Luigi.

I bet he's done it more, but I caught him that time!
 
I ahve it to, but can someone explain how its possible to do it not every lap, cause that would make sense if i would have the wrong ride height, and why i have no problems, and why that damn b-spec is only going 340 KM/h while i can easy go 413 KM/h?????? Doesn't this guy use 6th gear or something?
