I change my oil as needed but how often do you overhaul? Ever notice any difference when you do? What about frame rigidity? Notice anythink there? Ive got about 35k miles on my fgt and going. I bought a used musclecar with over 220k miles. Might see if i can hit a million lol
 
I did an engine overhaul on a car I had driven a lot of enduros on and got a significant BHP increase, so yes overhall does work.
But I don't know how many hours/miles are needed to make it worth it.
 
You only need to overhaul the engine and chassis after roughly 10k driving. So if you buy a car new you shouldn't need to worry about an overhaul until you've driven about that many miles. Buying used depends on how many miles the car already has on it.
 
If you don't restore your chassis rigidity does your bhp keep going down or does it stay at that 'step below,' so to speak?

I barely ever restore my chassis because I'm kind of a terrible driver and hit things often...
