Hi guys, just hoping some of u guys can help me out here... :)

I have noticed that after u drive a car for a certain amount of time, the power of the car is reduced, i thought this was the engine oil but when i check it in the AUTO Shop, oil was still good. after i change it to a new one i regained the power back to the maximum.

another thing is...say u buy a 2nd hand car and replace the oil, do we ever need to change it again? i never see the oil change lamp lighting up on the tacho :indiff:

Thanks guys :)

Just another tip- When you get a new car in GT, you should change the oil before you drive it aswell. You will always get a power boost. The amount of gain depends on the car. For example, today I just won the Nissan Fairlady Z Concept LM (I think that's the name). I changed the oil as soon as I got it, and got a 40-50kw increase.

Perosnally I change the oil of any of the cars (new or used) regularly, especially before entering a long championship. Learnt my lesson in GT3 when I entered a 10 race championship, and the oil light came on during the 7th race.

A search of the Main GT4 forum would have turned up, not only discussion of, but also answers to your questions.

So... Off topic = closed.
