Wish you could choose sound position regardless of driving position also, whould help with a lot of the problems.

It would, but in some cases the sounds are completely wrong altogether, like having a V6 sound in a V8, so changing driving position won't do a whole lot in that case..

FFS. The least they could have done is have the proper sound play IN THE FIRST PLACE. Having to change your exhaust 10 times and go back into a race to have it play the proper sound is extremely frustrating. I don't even know how it's done anymore.... i just swap exhausts until **** starts sounding right. It's irritating.

And WAY more sounds need to be added. FFS. This is unbelievably tiring.

The only sound glitchiness I've had so far is with my lancia stratos, when the engine noise cut out completely, before coming back in the 2nd lap as if nothing had happened. Very strange.

Side note: I absolutely LOVE the new X2011 sound! It now sounds as extreme as the car itself; more fitting than the old sound.

It's really annoying having a fully modified v8 car that sounds like a Japanese sport bike. They really need to fix this.

It is hard for them to get the right sound for over 1000 cars, but i mean come on at least get a base for them. Btw do they really need THIS many Nissans?? -

Wow PD get rid of half the skylines that are just the same as each other and focus on the main models of each car. Like honestly is it worth having 9 different versions of the same R34 when you could just focus on a couple? Man.....

I don't know about you, but I do enjoy feeling the differences in some of the major GT-R models. For example, the difference between the R34 V-spec and the R34 V-spec II is huge. The NSXs too. The NA1 Type R, the NA2 Type S, the S-Zeros, and the NA2 Type R all drive very differently.

True, but is 9 of them needed? I do love R34's myself but I think it's kind of overkill.
Anyway back to the sounds. They suck. xD

Even with all those variants, most of them share the same body, interiors and engines. So GT6 should of made them all premium vehicles considering there are only slight niche's that would have to be touched up. I.E R32 GTR Dash, removing the DIN Gauges, replacing the front seats, Put RB26 Engine sound instead. Then bamn you have a Premium GTS-T or GTS-M. For the Body only the GTR badges should be removed and what else, Bonnet, Fenders, Front Bumper and wing will need a change. Then GTR Front end conversion should be a option for customisation. Easy and no need for licencing from Aftermarket companies.

We've just tested the 2013 Ford Focus ST and it has a nice throaty sound that gets heavy and more thick in tone as the revs rise. The game car is not even close. I use only the in-car views so IMO, the sounds should be accurate for inside the car. The out of the car sounds should not suffice for both.

Yeah. PD can't even get the sounds right in trailers, putting random car sound clips on cars that go by in the trailers. The sounds don't match at all with the car going by. Are they stupid? Honestly are they just lazy and don't put the right sound to the right car or are they seriously deaf? It's a real possibility.

Lol sounds about right. They've never been good in the sound department, but at least they could make a FRICKEN EFFORT!! -_-

Listen to this (My favorite car) and compare it to GT6 Diablo:
