I'm looking to have that wonderful startup sound for the Mazda 787b as my computer startup sound. I'd record the sound myself if I had the equipment.
Can anyone with video game recording stuff record just the startup sound? Maybe the idle. (not necessary) I'd like the best quality for the best prolonged enjoyment. I'll take whatever file you give, video or whatever. I'll just peel the sound out of it. (I tried youtube but they're video camera stuff with background noise and music)

Good lord you want THAT as your startup sound? I'd probably s:censored: bricks every time I heard that! But I must say that 787Bs are scary, in a good way.

How do you change your computer start up sound? I wouldn't mind doing something like that myself, just with a different car.

You go to your control panel then go to Sounds and Audio Devices then go to the Sounds tab and click on which ever you want to change then click the browse button and search for the sound file you want to replace it with.

Download the MP3 and the program audacity, plenty of freedom for your sound files in there ;)
 
I don't to want to hijack this thread, but I need the Speed 12 startup for a mod I am doing for a game.

I can do the Chevelle startup, but you don't need to send me anything. I didn't update so I wouldn't be able to receive it anyway.
 
Just did this and it is officially awesome. Are there any other engine noise downloads available? Preferably something big with eight cylinders :sly:
