Engine Stage 3 on Arta NSX? Cars to avoid engine mod?

Should I buy the engine stage 3 for the Arta NSX? I drive with no driving aids at all except ABS=1. I bought the engine stage 3 for the Zonda R and promptly threw 2,500,000 credits out the window.

Not having traction control and active stability means that when high rpm cars develop an uneven power band, when the car reaches high rpms it produces wheel spin, and if you are in a corner you end up wrapped around a wall.

Any tips? Also are there any other cars besides the Zonda R that you shouldn't buy stage 3 engine on? I hate that I can't remove the engine modification.

I like the Arta but it lacks the power to keep up with other Super GT cars on tsukuba's final straight. I tried the mid range turbo with some success but I hate driving high revving high powered turbocharged cars in this game because the boost lag can be unmanageable.

You could backup prior to installing the Engine Stage and testing it out that way. But regardless, buying any tuning parts for a race car seems unnatural to me.

Nah Tsukuba, I'm having a hard time getting my Xanavi Nismo Z with stock horsepower below 53 seconds a lap because it wheel spins in the corners. I use a dual shock 3. I bought the Arta and it handles better than the Xanavi, but it doesn't have enough power.

I am running shorter gears.

Any tips? Should I have gotten the yellow hat GTR, Tom's Supra, or the Bandai SC430?

you can still add a stage3 engine and be fine. throttle control is a must or do the transmission trick for a really long first gear. manual also help and avoid 1st gear completely. Zonda R and McLaren F1 both act the same in that respect

Yeah I did the same as you suggest and my lap times were better with the stock Zonda R. Now I have two Zonda R's, atleast it only took me 15 minutes of seasonal's.

What's your goal? Getting a sub 53 lap on Tsukuba? I really think that's doable on the Stock NSX if you use racing softs.

Just try some practice with the nsx on tskuba. Sub 53 second laps are easily possible. There's no need to add power and unbalance the car.

I don't upgrade any purpose made race car, there really is no point in doing so considering it's already a "race car" and tuned for that certain horsepower and weight.

Unnatural? Do you think racing teams wouldn't install upgrades if they could?
