Engine trouble

I just won the purple concept car from the US/UK race and it's pretty cool, but for some reason when I get up to 4th or 5th gear the controller starts vibrating and I can't seem to get any power. Speed starts dropping, as do my revs and I can't seem to keep it above 115. wtf? I didn't tweak the car at all, just raced it as I got it. Any clues?

I had the same problem myself sometimes in gt1.. just set the suspension, springs and dampers softer and it will be solved.

It's also probably riding too low.

Tried both of those, neither worked. Is there any way to get the cars from GT1 into GT2?

No.

What settings do you have on your Concept Car? I'm guessing you need to lower the dampers... I usually have them around 2 or 3 for that car, I believe.

I set my dampers to 3 front and 2 rear, changed the gears to give it a little more top end, and now everything's all good. Thanks!
