Race Details:
Mode: Arcade: Time trial
Game Spec: Spec III
Physics: Professional
Track: High Speed Ring Reverse
Car: Mine's BNR34 Skyline GT-R​

Rules:
* Lap must be clean, No wall touches, 2 wheels on track at all times.(concrete area's and all hard underground is considered part of the track)
* G25 clutch is Prohibited
* Driving aids are optional
* Standard OLR rules​

Save your best lap replay, everyone will need to submit there replay at the end
of each round for verification.(replays will need to be posted (as soon as possible)
within 48 hours after deadline, replays are to be posted in this thread.)​

Standard Clean OLR:
* 2 wheels on (or vertically in line with) the track at all times
* rumble/ripple strips are part of the track
* no contact with walls or objects, visible or invisible
* if you're not 100% sure that your lap is clean, then consider it dirty
* no cheating of any kind, nothing that goes against the spirit of the rules.
(This includes conduct in the discussion thread. Administrators of this series reserve
the right to suspend or expel racers from this race or series if these guidelines are
breached - think before you post)
* save your best lap/ghost replay​

Submitting:
* Submit to ripping_silk through GTPlanet private message.
* You need to include your lap time and your psn username.
* You can only submit your time once.
* The Deadline is 23:59(GMT) 14th of May
* Replay deadline is 23:59(GMT) 16thh of May
* Replay is to be posted in the thread. format example: ripping_silk-1.47.665.zip
* Next race starts on the 15th of May

It's not too bad actually. You're lucky I didn't choose the Blitz, I was going to. But the Mine's was easier. But it's really fun when you stuff a lap to just do some drifting. This car powerslides really well. But it's not too bad, but does require throttle control.

I gave this one a quick go a few minutes ago...boy is it a tough cookie! I'm having a really tough time modulating the throttle with the pad and putting down the power cleanly. Horde put up an awesome lap for a pad driver, even if it is a dirty lap. Anyways, I'll have another go tommorow...should be able to improve if I can put down the power with some luck. I may even end up turning on TCS hehe! Don't tell anybody...

First session yesterday i did a superb T1 the rest had a lot of room for improvement, probably looking at a 1'09.4xx but it is a hard car.

Ran a 45 minute session and reached a .23x time, T1 was .050 off my PB (possibly .075-.1 off the track limit) had a nicely timed sector 2 PB along with a risky last sector that paid off (PB by .070 there) soo all in all, happy with the time and theres a tenth left, cheers!

Could I just ask, have I got the deadline right? I really don't want to make that mistake again. I checked the calender about 3 times this week.

EDIT: I even wrote thursday so if i got the date wrong you could still see I meant thursday.

Knocked exactly 0.1 off with another 25 laps, not a great fan of track[reverse] or car but probably abit to come off as im losing 0.25 in T2 and 0.15in T3 but i can hit good T1s i did a .791 at best.

1'09.7xx.......... and thats it for me. The Mines is very very nervous and takes a large amount of finesse and patience midcorner....... things which are severely lacking in my mindset atm...

Yeah, I got to 5th tonight. But it is definetly a struggle to get the back to 'stick'. The back does seem pretty nervous and wants to constantly step out. I might be able to get a tenth more before the deadline. I'm at a 1'09.519 at the moment.

Well i gave a new one last night and almost passed spyrrari! Now i see till where i can go on this one, but its hard going fast and not hit the wall in 1st corner!

Well I'm making one anyway. Since I am slow and only in the current mishap find out that the deadline is every thursday, is there any chance of it being moved to friday? This way, eveyone (well, most people) will have time to give one last proper shot before the deadline. It would also make it more exiting as the rankings would change over and over again in the closing hours - instead of at the start of each week like we have now because every one tries on the weekend and it get's boring as the week draws to a close.

Just got up to 7th in Mine's. EYS has been getting more and more competitive lately. It's become the 'Alien TT comp' really. But I improved to a 1'09.502. So only improved by 0.017.

EDIT: Up to 6th now with a 1'09.4xx. Fairly happy with that but will no longer be happy if I get overtaken by spyrrari or markyboy. I would like to try and catch Chronos but I don't think I'll get that much faster. Maybe a few hundredths to come if I'm lucky.

I'm hoping for a low .4xx, but not sure if that will happen or not.

Yeah I did a few laps last night but I got close to the wall, I don't think I touched and got a T1 of 700, did T2 well and was clear ahead of May but I messed up the last real corner. I was on for a 109.100 at minimum. I've got some clean laps in the bank very near to 358 and will have a second sesh.

I normally hate HSR forward or reverse and only ever run reverse in a TT once last year. When playing for fun free-run type play I just never select it and prefer traditional tracks/corners but the Mines is great fun.

meagainstyou does a .084 !
If I can do a mid/low .5, thats maximum for me. Just have to string it together.
The gains are coming in the thousandths rather than the tenths now.
