Race Details:
Mode: Arcade: Time trial
Game Spec: Spec III
Physics: Professional
Track: Fuji Speedway F
Car: Lotus Elise 111R/Tuned​

Rules:
* Lap must be clean, No wall touches, 2 wheels on track at all times.(concrete area's and all hard underground is considered part of the track)
* G25 clutch is Prohibited
* Driving aids are optional
* Standard OLR rules​

Save your best lap replay, everyone will need to submit there replay at the end of each round for verification.(replays will need to be posted (as soon as possible) within 48 hours after deadline, replays are to be posted in this thread.)​

Standard Clean OLR:
* 2 wheels on (or vertically in line with) the track at all times
* rumble/ripple strips are part of the track
* no contact with walls or objects, visible or invisible
* if you're not 100% sure that your lap is clean, then consider it dirty
* no cheating of any kind, nothing that goes against the spirit of the rules.
(This includes conduct in the discussion thread. Administrators of this series reserve
the right to suspend or expel racers from this race or series if these guidelines are
breached - think before you post)
* save your best lap/ghost replay​

Submitting:
* Submit to ripping_silk through GTPlanet private message.
* You need to include your lap time and your psn username.
* You can only submit your time once.
* The Deadline is 23:59(GMT) 5th June
* Replay deadline is 23:59(GMT) 7th June
* Replay is to be posted in the thread. format example: ripping_silk-1.47.665.zip
* Next race starts on the 6th of June
* if you are unsure of the deadline try this site​

Time Verification:
* Save your ghost replay.
* All Racers will be required to post their replay in this thread, before 48 hours
after race finish time.
* failure to do so will result in the removal of the unverified submission from the results.

This combo pairs two of the things i despise on GT5: Loutus's in any form and Fuji.

1 x 45min session and that is it for me, this combo dead set makes me suicidal. It's horrible. I right foot brake and am just not talented enough to have the knife edge control that this car demands.

Geez i hope this lap is clean... there are 2 wheels on rumble strips at all times, so i'm hopeful it's all good. No mistakes like last round

i right foot brake too, this car requires a very particular skillset.

You have to steer it with the rear wheels, which is kind of hard considering the steering wheel is connected to the front ones

Unlimited tyres, So you can use S2's(or the best tyres)

I'll be going to have my first session shortly. I'm not a big fan of Fuji, but we'll see how I go.

This cars handling is very knew to me and seems to have a unique feel to it when you get it right,very enjoyable

about round 15, 1 word, PATHETIC, dont even no why i bother racing this seies, with its pathetic unneccessary rules. 1'45.668 after 1 session. If there is going to be anothe enhance your skills, I'd seriously consider modifying the rules with regards to time verification, as curently is laughable

My internet got disconnected last week, meaning it made it difficult for me to upload the replay, but as I have said before, the replay is already verified lol, its been on the ****ing leaderboard for the past 7 days! logic people, logic

anyways, moving on to this ond, this car is really difficult to drive, the rear on this thing is very unstable, Its fun to drive though is the car has loads of grip at the front end, great selection choice

The rules have been spelled out clearly over several rounds, and you yourself have been on the 'wrong' side of the 'upload replay' rule before.
Whether there will be another EYS series or not, and whether the rules for that series are different, or the same, is irrelevant.
The rules for THIS series are clear, especially with regard to uploading replays.
If you do not like the rules, then DO NOT compete.

before this explodes into a flame fest, I shall steer this subject back to topic.

I have always loved this car and it is just great to see it being used. The competition will be too stiff for me to make any progression. I am never good at Fuji except in a 4WD car. For me, theres more that could go wrong here than Suzuka.

Oh well, I expressed my feelings at that particular point in time, and thats how my post came out, **** happens, I probably worded it a bit harshly, especially with the logic people logic bit, that was a bit over the top and a bit demeaning to the organisers.

My general nature is to be a perfectionist, and the replay uploading rule is obviously, 93 light years away from being perfect, its a complete waiste of time far half the field of competitors like mad, spyrrari, boy racer, myself, and a few others who consistently achieve top 10 times, which can be verified clinically via the online leaderboard. A German site like gtrp.de wouln't waiste time by being so 'politically correct', thats how i see these rules, trying to please everyone, but the bottom line is its a joke, my idea, top 10 times that remain on the leaderboard after the dealine do not need to be verified via the replay uploading, ofcourse save your replay incase it is bumped off. Now is that such a bad rule? What it does is it rewards the drivers who reach this milestone, not just for the points, making everyone push for that final tenth, thus adding a new dimension to the competition.

I think its always critical for anything to always re-invent itself, create new ideas and concepts, adapt, evolve.

Also I have no hesitation in reacting to future comments like the one made by drama-kyd, suggesting I bitch too much. You are nothing compared to me in Gan Turismo, why even try an antagonise me, as time and time again I crush you on the track, beating me on the track may prove your point that i bitch too much, but that will never happen sadly, even if my left arm was cut off, u stupid prick. Everyone is entitled to ones opinion, just accept peoples opinions and If you don't have anything constructive to say then don't open your mouth.

Edit- forgot to mention that I drove a 1'45.513 last night, far from ideal lap time unfortunately, but it should be enough for now The combo is fantastic, difficult yet rewarding.

People like orsg and drama-kyd, who when faced with a difficult assignment give up instantly, i can understand why they wouldnt enjoy this one...haahah, now thats bitching for ya.

Also you said about org and drama's attitude, i agree i dont know why they bother, yeah GT isnt as much fun as it was for me anyway but i still try 100% usually, im nothing on the top guys[although half of the top guys use the clutch or barriors] but still i try to improve to close the gap.
