hi guys , tought to start this thread to share your stats and experience trough the game.. maybe handy for people who are seeking more info..

Its about Enthusia Life but other modes can be posted also.

Enthusia Life

Currently im rank 690 its because i upgraded some cars as the Mr2, 180Sx, S13, S14 now i want to get the Nismo Tune of the Skyline and the S15. I was on rank 400 but i got kicked back by some mistakes :crazy: the Dragon Range is awesome! you can go downhill and uphill,
Anybode drove the Lightweight500 its like a rocket! damn this thing is uberfast some drifts worked well with this beast, now im racing in the Toyota Soarer wich is a heavy one.. but does the job nicely :) Ive done some tuning and got smoother longer drifts with the 180sx, if you tune you see a graphic that indicates of oversteer/understeer pretty handy i found, and the airport is nice for long drift practise.

Driving Revolution

well, i got trough the first stage.. the rest will follow :)

for those who play: how are you playing with Ds2 Dfp or other steer, and with wich setting TCS ESC on or off. i play with a Dfp and esc and tcs on (exept drifting)
and does anybody know how to record a replay with a tuned car? couse in timetrial i cant get my tuned cars..and with a test run i cant record.. :indiff:
and what racecars do you have?

-Update: i almost got all cars, including racecars but now im again kicked back in the ranking so ill go with driving revolution, still on level8.
In Enthusia Life i'm racing the trueno then later i want to make it drift Dragon track, i want to upgrade most of the cars.. but it takes time wich i dont have many at the moment.
i'll update as i progress

Rank 1 just before one in-game year, and then I placed first in the last race of the year, the King of the Year competition.

If you haven't downloaded or bought the official soundtrack, you gotta hear the credits song; an extended, 6-minute version of the theme from the intro movie! Maybe it's just me, but I love the music in this game... :D

Was that with no cheating (i.e. no deliberately not saving when you lose?)
 
Hm, Wolfe2x7: I didn't know that there were credits or some other awward for getting 1st rank, I was earning lotsa of points with ae86 on nurbugring and got rank 1, but there was nothing after that(maybe because i had music turned off), damm :indiff: Maybe it's because I have to race in that "The King of the Year competition" race?
 
Kamkor: I'm pretty sure it was the King of the Year race. As I said, I got the 1st rank one week before the last week of the year, and I didn't see the credits until after I beat the King of the Year.

Caligula: Nope, I never did that, although I went for quite a while before I realized (luckily) that Enthusia doesn't have an auto-save, and I hadn't been saving at all!! I was lucky enough to unlock my favorite car after the first two races, the BMW E30 M3 Sport Evolution. I used it for the rest of the year.
 
after 3 days (about 4 hours?), i'm at 500

it's a great game!......it's different from gran turismo where you have to do a lot of stuff manually.....(ie, upgrade your car)

Only in Japan, as far as I know, but you could order it from some imported goods website...

OK, then...my message has been edited now, though to be completely honest, paying for an OST for a game is really just paying for the packaging and disc(s). Sorry to nit-pick and bicker, but the fact is that someone could just as easily record the music directly from the game, which they already (hopefully) paid Konami for.
 
Thanks for the info; I was ranked #3 before the "King of the Year" race, I don't think a first place would put me into the top spot; plus the B-level car I've been racing gets creamed on the Nurburgring; where they just happen to hold the last race of the year... The best I can do is third; and that's by driving like a maniac. No credits, no theme song, nothing. I wish I had known to pick a more competitive, Nurb-friendly car BEFORE I got to this race...
 
You didn't need a faster car, you just needed a car fast enough to deal with the cars the game threw at you to match your car. I won the race with my level 10, class C, M3 sport evo, and the opponents were class B cars and class C cars, (an R32 GTR and a Subaru were the only two out of the field that gave me trouble)
 
Yeah, me and my RX-7 (I love these cars!) were at #1 when the end of the year came. Unfortunately, it wasn't heavily upgraded. I was able to stick with the Nismo tuned Skyline for a lap and a half, but I just couldn't keep up on the straights. I settled for second, but I want 1st next year. I'm upgrading some more cars this year, hoping that I can get one that can handle the competition.
 
Well, I didn't save that depressing loss, so that race is still open :P . I'm racing a Subaru Legacy; my only two real opponents are a Supra and a GC8 WRX STi. Maybe I'll fiddle with it some more and practice, then try it again. I can usually hold them for a half a lap; maybe a full lap, but one screw up and it's nearly impossible to catch up...

EDIT: Softened the springs a tad; dialed out all the oversteer and tweaked the final gear for more top end. And I just beat the game :) :eek: :D :eek: :D :cool:
 
I really liked Zone of the Enders 2's ending song....and that's another Konami game...and another theme song from a Konami game that mixes a string orchestra with electronic drums and synths and such... :)
 
i finished driving revolution with 1 "A" and the rest "S"

my save said that i have 99% done......

now i have to continue with my career mode........
 
I'm just ranked at 250-something, going into the 2nd month of the second year.

I've had some good weeks and some bad ones, even wiping out all my Enthu points and being forced to sit out for a week.

I've only used something like three cars, starting with an old-school MGB. I'm using an R34 Skyline now (AWD helps make up for my mistakes).

Man, this is fun.. GT4 is gathering dust.
