I get this message when trying to enter certain rooms. Entry was refused due to network incompatibilty with the room host. Does anyone know what this means is it a problem on his end or mine.

I use wifi because I really don't have a choice, and it seems to work fine. It could have to do with your NAT type

I get the same error try restarting your modern and try again it normal works.

The NAT type was a problem with my friend and I trying to race in my lounge. Not compatible .

This also sometimes just happens when my connection slows. I exit, reset the connection and restart the game. Then it's all good

Make sure that either...

Your PS3 in in your Network DMZ
or Your PS3 has the correct ports forwarded

and you have UPnP enabled.

You should have a NAT Type of 2 or 1.

If you have all these things correct, then you should have little to no issues with online play.
