Enzo tune problem

So I have probably 3 hours if not more into tuning the Enzo, problem is I can't hit my goal of 9.009 or under 9 (8.999). With the help of someone I managed to get 9.021 but continued tuning and right back to my 9.062 area. Are there any tips that anyone could give for thy little boost to get me down to 9?
 
If you have a tune that's faster than you're current one, ALWAYS REMEMBER WHAT YOU CHANGED so if you go slower, you can change it back :) I've never tuned an enzo but all I can say is put it on automatic (for now) run it some and change some stuff and when you get it the fastest (suspension wise) put it on manual and work on a transmission and after a while, you will have a fast enzo ;) This is my method for tuning ALL of my cars.

I agree with your first part, that was a hard-learned lesson that I had to go through last year :lol:
 
Thats what i use the setting sheets for. Save the tune on b and c. Then I'll change something on A. if its slower, go to B and copy settings back to A. thats how i do my trial and error

As for the enzo, its hard to help without posting up your tune. but make sure you have a wing on it, with max downforce.

also, rear toe, make sure you dont have too much. I use +0.60 myself with -1.00 on the front of course

make sure your final gear is lowest (2.500) when youre ratios are all entered

also, I launch mine in 2nd. currently running 9.002. i could get mine into the 8.9's but i dont know how to do Retro's launch trick yet.

Switching to this dropped it to 9.042, so does the mean those last few hundredths of a second are down to my trans tuning?

Edit: did minor trans tune got to 9.000 thanks
2nd quick edit: it may be my launch, it bounced from two runs of 9.000 and 9.001 to 9.040.
 
x2 what swara said. your ratios arent that far off of mine, my tranny is set to 182, i use 3.200 for my starting final

i shift into 3rd at mid 70 mph. and i shift my gears at 9k rpm roughly

give that a shot
 
7 tunes, countless mods to each tune, over 3hrs just today, consistent of 9.050 with some jumps down to 9.000 to 9.002.... I give up for now. Thanks for all the help though

Keep at it dude you'll get it soon, that was like me once, i tuned the enzo for about 2 weeks straite just to get it right in tunnel drags. Turns out after all that tuning i had the fastest tunnel tuned enzo going around. Might end up the same for you.

Trying with hitting perfect RPM's @ the start of the race, i can manage down to 9.002 and yet some how by full throttle on a different tune I managed an 9.000. is 9.048 full throttle close to the average? now is it all about my launch? this is tough lol

A 9.000 full throttle.. That would be a sub 8.97X wouldn't it..

It was a lucky bounce off the redline and made the time, im not considering it my best honestly since i cant recreate it, yet i have hit 9.002 twice and 9.01x several times in launch testing
 
Make sure SRF is off. seems like it is, but I just want to make sure. Thats what Matt was most likely inquiring about

Yes, 9.04 is normal for a redline launch. thats what mine runs

9.002 is great. as i said before the only way youre getting below that is with Retros launch

Alright, and ya SRF is off, i did one run with it on and i ran like 8.923 lmao. i cant stand to run with srf. Idk who this Retro is you speak of though and "his launch" but alright, thanks for all the help everyone

Edit: I assume you mean Retromania or w/e it was in the top of the leaderboards.
