Epic endurance battle between MR and FF @ Monaco

I host a Lemons to Le Mans series and basically cars are given allowances to make them faster than their competition after each race. By the time we reached Monaco, my MR car was significantly down on power compared to another driver in his FF car. Over 50 laps (~90 minutes) we battled back and forth. At the beginning of a tire run, he was faster, at the end of a tire run, i was quick enough in the corners to pull ahead...if I could prevent him from drafting me. Each time I passed him, he would pit immediately for tires. By the time I pitted, he would be ahead of me by a few seconds.

Here is the video of the finale. I succeeded with several passes and each lap i'd pull away further down the straight before he'd draft me. But on lap 44 is was do or die for the FF car. He tried a risky move by squeezing inside me. He waited for my braking point but with no tires left, he locked up the wheels and slid into the barrier.

I really enjoyed watching the race,
there were tuff challenge between the drivers at the last minutes, although drives well :-)
 
Thanks, I wish I could upload the whole race...or at least record it to make a montage with commentary. This battle occured at the end of each tire run (so 3 times total). Actually, I do have a video of the start of the race. There was some tight competition but accidents whittled the field down after only a few laps.
