While doing some boring B-Spec races with a Red Bull X2011 (because I couldn't be bothered to have my Bob race with a regular car), I noticed that he will suddenly stop half way on a straightaway. Yes, in the middle of a wide open road, far away from the next turn, he will suddenly slow down, sometimes even downshift and then speed up again.

I noticed this at Suzuka (full) and Daytona Road Course. Has anyone else observed this?

EDIT: In addition to this weird braking pattern, my driver just slams into the back of opponents instead of going around them when I select the "Overtake" option. He just plows into their rear bumper, then just idles behind them for 10 seconds or so.

In a field full of X2010s on Indy Superspeedway he will sometimes slow down to around 170mph on the backstretch, allowing the other X2010s to blast past.

Never keep your driver cool in a race with all X2010s. The opponents will catch up violently quickly.

It was only my X2011 against tuner cars.

I use the Red Bull X2011 in B-Spec races with no problem overtaking cars but my bobs has got a lot of experience that may help but if your B-Spec driver has not got a lot of experience you may have problems.

I guess so. I made my first driver (on that PSN account) a couple weeks/months ago. I did like two races with it and ended up just putting it on share hoping someone would eventually race it (not asking for people to do remote races, I have enough friends on PSN at the moment). Thankfully, someone did level up my driver quite a bit.

I just want drivers so I can set up a B-Spec race at the Indy 500. Why the Indy 500? Simple: do 86 laps to break in my cars without me having to do anything.

If you get a driver up to Endurance level, the Laguna Seca race will put just over 200 miles on the clock. Great for breaking in.
