any idea what this is?
I backed up my save, but resorted to doing a system restore: and more a full backup restore.

I deleted the patches and tried reloading the game, because it kept constantly freezing my ps3

when i did so i got an error message: 8001002b

That was pretty cool.

but why have a questions thread if everyone tells you to go to google?
Maybe it didn't have the right answer

If you can find the answer on the first result on google, it probably doesn't require it's own thread

However, in case you didn't notice. Dunce you probably read none if the results; I have did everything, listed that i can do besides send it in our get a new harddrive

Well then, if you've tried everything else perhaps you should send it in or get a new hard drive.

Name calling won't get you far kid.

I didn't mean to name call, autocorrect. It was supposed to be "since".
I am also not a child.

Alright.

Well, it's simple. If you've tried most of the solutions that have worked for other people with no luck, the logical conclusion is that the untested solutions are likely to be what will fix the problem...

:idea:And now, we see why people don't get a warm welcome when they venture to the drag racing forum.

I don't understand.

The question at hand is something that could have been answered with a few seconds of googling (as proven by the link provided)
There are constantly threads made like this that just ask the same question over and over again.

How is that related to the 'attitude' in an entirely different sub-forum?

I'm glad UrieHusky was able to help the OP... That is all...

Google is a wonderful thing eh?

In fact, a good 10-15 percent* of my posts have been answers obtained from Google because I didn't personally know the solution or had never encountered the problem previously.

*This statistic is entirely fictional and has been made up on the spot, like 72 percent of all statistics.

A whole section of what you just said should have been avoided; if you read that i did google it and went through every other option. And i was hoping there was another option that someone in here encountered.

You don't have to be hateful. I am sure we all know about google.
I have navigated sites that aren't achievable through any search engine.
I know how to find something, but when i am stumped I ask questions.

However,
I'm done.

But you outright said that you haven't tried every option...

I'm not being hateful, surely if you've seen me post at any point you'd see that most of what I say is in jest.

If I was giving you a hard time in a hateful or aggressive way I wouldn't use LMGTFY to make a point. Perhaps some wires got crossed there.

Either way I wish you the best of luck with solving your problem, however I personally know of no other solutions beyond what is listed on that first webpage.

I agree google is your friend. But sometimes, to me it seems like you come off as a little rude:cheers: You seem like a cool dude just rude.
And google also does not always have the right answer. Or a single answer that even relates to the question.

Now as far as attitude I've watch my fellow drag racers and myself get burned alot when we ask a question or chime in somewhere else in the site.

Enough said.

That could well stem from my mental condition, what seems rude to others seems merely straight forward or 'straight to the point' in my head. At least that's what I've been told in the past.

Aspergers makes social things a bit difficult like that, what's common sense socially to most people has taken years of study for me to grasp

I do my best with what I have, that's all I can offer.

I've never personally had difficulty locating information via google, quite often on the first page I'll find the answer to my question. Sometimes it takes a few pages full of dead ends but the internet is a vast place, you're bound to find the information you're after.

Hmm. I don't go to the drag forum as it's not my scene, but I get where you're coming from.
