This was a problem in gt sport, i have the same issue on gt7. I spend more time searching for a working lobby than i do playing the game and im not trying to be funny or exaggerate. Seriously polyphony, not again please.

It’s absurd how much time I’ve tried to solve this issue, including contacting the game support (if it actually exists), and I find the solution here.

Sounds like you're on NAT3 when you need NAT2. If you're still on NAT3 after doing everything in @Famine's post, then that's on your provider.
