Error Code 1:6399

Hi all, wondering if anyone can help with this error code, nearly every time I start the game I get the following error code 1:6399. It is at the micro update stage. All but one time of starting I get the message. Only once has it worked allowing me to get one update the vision merc. Every time I go into the fame, it says my software not up to date, any help would be a godsend.
