Your submission could not be processed because a security token was missing.

If this occurred unexpectedly, please inform the administrator and describe the action you performed before you received this error.

I've been getting this pop up when trying to reply to a thread or PM, using the newest version of Firefox.

Is it a problem with my box/internet connection or have others had this problem? Seems to have started happening since the recent FF update.

Thanks in advance,

PF

I have Firefox as well, and I tend to have some issues woith it on GTP to. Not your problem, but some issues related. Firefox wouldn't happen to be experiencing any difficulties at the moment for the past months would they?

I'm running FF 3.6.2 with no problems.

If you keep having these issues, PF, try deleting your cookies and clearing your web browser's cache and see what happens.

Check your computers or laptops, in the administration to find clean outs, programs running, and your firewall. These may be some contents of your system to search.

Thanks Jordan
From me too
I'll give it a go
Same here, busy today but will try it tomorrow
It's not a major issue to be honest which is why I haven't bothered too much about it.
Yeah, same. I haven't lost any posts but am not keen on writing a 500-word car review with hyperlinks etc just to lose it. I've done it before but that was through my own stupidity (eg accidentally closing a browser page).

And thanks, DGiant for the link, will investigate that when I have time.

EDIT: Bugger, it just did it again.

RE-EDIT at 11:52am GMT+10: Okay, I just lost a full post with about six quotes and 200 or so words. Will look into this tomorrow.

I've been doing some research, and you guys definitely aren't alone with this problem. Apparently, it has something to do with FF 3.6's Javascript engine. I think this has been fixed in the latest version, 3.6.2, so please upgrade and see if that takes care of the problem.

3.6.2 is what I'm running so it looks like there might still be a problem. I've had a few problems with other sites using FF lately. I can't switch back to IE, I hate it, and google chrome doesn't work at my place of work *sigh* anyone got any ideas?!?!

Opera, Safari?
You could ask your boss for Google Chrome to be allowed. Give him the pros of it (but none of the few cons :sly:)

Nice idea but I work in a school and chrome has some neat ways of circumventing our filtering and safety precautions so it has to be blocked as a matter of course, can't have the kids going on anything they shouldn't!

Hrm, I'm running 3.6.2 at work and have had absolutely no issues with it.

Aside from downgrading to a pre-3.6 version of Firefox, there's nothing else I can think of, unfortunately. :indiff: Otherwise, we might just have to wait this one out.

*testing*

I upgraded just after my last edit yesterday at 11:52am GMT+10. Did 4 test edits on my post above (pls ignore the Caps Lock fail), now trying to post.

EDIT: All working now, probably just need to upgrade FF to 3.6.2

Hi,
I've been trying to send a PM, but I get this same error message. Is there a post limit until you can send a PM? I'm trying to send my registry GTP_info for prologue...

Thanks

We have limitation set on the board, to limit spammers. In order to send a PM, you have to have a post approved. Such as the one I've just approved. You should now be able to send the PM.
