Error when indownload the online stuff

Today I got out of bed at 7:00 AM to start the download for the online stuff for GT5 since it takes forever to download. Then at around noon I went to check its progress and it says an Error has occurred. So I restarted the download. Then at around 3:30 I checked its progress again and once more it says that an Error has occurred. What is happening and how do I stop this from happening? Is there any other way to download the online stuff?

UPDATE: I just checked and it is now at 4, but now it says there is 10 items. I guess as long as its downloading its OK!

If your PS3 is crashing before V2.02 I would recommend buying the XL edition due to your area and please go through the standard procedure of reseting your router and cache (Router restart, delete network cache)

P.s.are you on the the latest firmware?

I do have the XL edition. Sorry if this is a noob question, but what is firmware?
