is anyone elses GT3 like this,

Altezza
207hp
159.12ft.lb
1998cc
L4 DOHC

even the IS300 is wrong, it says
1998cc
L6 DOHC

the correct for both are
2997cc
L6 DOHC

First they are correct, you're the one thats wrong,...Altezza's used 4 cyls the time GT3 came out..they used the bad azz 3SGTE engine, and all of those specs are correct.

The Is300 one is incorrect however because its a 3.0 liter i6 with 215HP and 218ft lbs of tq

I don't usually look on the specs of cars, so I didn't notice. I just assume they are right anyway.

Why? The 2jz-gte isnt better than a 3sgte....The 3sgte is way better, hell thats why they put 3sgte's into Supra's cause they're BETTER

Is there even an IS300 in GT3?

In the Japanese and Pal version it has the Altezza RS200 and Base spec model.

Oh and the IS200 in Europe uses a 2l inline 6 (Parent's used to own an IS200, but beh we have a C-Class now :yuck: ), but the the IS300 is about the same spec.

the only reason they are "better" as you say, is because they can distribute the weight better pushing the engine back farther torwards the center of the car(in real life). In gt3 its doesn't matter and I am looking for higher hp.

For the record, the Lexus in GT3 is a 1998 IS200.
Yup, and it uses a 2.0-liter, 4-cylinder engine, not the I-6 of the Altezza. The car also appears in GT2, and there is a 6-speed, 4-cyl Altezza that's sold in Europe.

The North American-spec "Altezza" is a 5-speed, with an I-6 engine, known as the IS300 (for 3-liter engine). Rumor has it that it may be replaced with a V6 in a future model of the IS, but so far, it's just idle talk at my workplace...

I took a lightly-tuned IS200 into battle with the Altezzas...I had to have the only Lexus in the game.
