escudo max speed

ok so i got the escudo...bought the stage 4 turbo...read how to go over 1,000 MPH..changed the settings accordingly...but my max speed is only 681...what am i missing? can someone please post what EVERY setting should be to reach 1000 MPH?? thanx
 
1,000 Mph?! What are you talking about? The most I can do on my Escudo is about 250. Where does 1,000 come in and I also got the stage 4 turbo. Even when i set the gear ratios wide it could only go about 270 MPH

Again, I must ask - what is the fastest LEGIT speed so far? By legit, I mean not using the Supersonic wheelie bug or GS-ing it.
 
I had 300.5 in my Escudo without doing the glitch (I think I had 309 at one point, but I'm at work now so I can't check).
 
yea...but can someone still post the settings of the car to get 1000+ MPH? btw...the fastest legit speed i've gotten was 297, but that was with the modified settings so i was peeling out the whole time
