Ok lets sort out our differences on the :suzuki: Escudo once and for all guys.

Vote to decide wether we should drink :drink: to it's awesome bhp, 4wd, ultra lightness, rpm, sheer power, Rally Capabilities and awesome looks.....:burnout:

Or Burn it :fdevil: for it's handling, tuning nightmares, flying techniques and anything else you hate about it :banghead:

So what's everyone think? What do you love and hate about the :suzuki: Escudo well remembered from GT2?

My opinion (not to influence vote, though I'm up for argument :argue: ) It is a great car if you learn to handle it...lightly touching X through the bend and releasing over 1000bhp on the stright (Fully Tuned)... Awesome.... And on Rally It Totally Rocks. :rockon:

It's OK. Not my favorite. Not good for the road courses though. But, on rallyr courses it gets air over the hills which makes it really frustrating to drive.
 
I used it extensively on the test track. Ever have a series that you have to race around the test course? That's the one I skip, and come back afterwards with the Escudo.

Really indifferent towards it. Time saver on the ol' Nascar type races.

Wouldn't matter "In or out"

The Escudo was my old standby in GT2... if all else failed and I couldn't win, I have no shame so I'd fire up the Escudo.

But, it is severely handicapped in GT3 so I never bother.
 
The Escudo rocks in the right situations. I ran it on Deep Forest in the 4WD race in Professional...I don't think you're supposed to be able to hit 200 mph on that back stretch 😈 That said, even with the roll bars, springs, and toe-in modified (a little, didn't want to risk overdoing it), I was barely keeping up with the Mercedes sedan through the turns.

But it is sweet on the test course. I had to pit every three laps but I won Like The Wind, 4 laps ahead of the Viper GTS. Can you hit 300 mph without wheelie settings? I got 297 at the end of the straights, down to 280 on the turns.

It's too bad you don't get it until all the rally races are done.

The car isn't really worth it all. It can't turn. The only thing it has is 1800hp
 
Ah - I'd keep it.

- you don't HAVE to tune it to 1800hp
- I think it's quite comical trying to drive something quite ridiculously overpowered. I laugh myself silly driving this thing.
 
its so bad at turning that if you enter the pit at Laguna you hit the turn because it cant turn...i haven't tried entering at 10mph yet hough.
 
nice logo, troy, but i stil waiting to get my hands on this behemoth.
 
I only use it on the Test Course as well. All those races are done, so I don't use it anymore. I will not sell it though. Just nice to have for looks once in a while. I drove one road race with it, but that is all I will deal with. I tried it on rally courses, and it is tougher to control than any other rally car.

It does jump on the rally courses too much for my liking. I have to "pre-correct" my driving line on rally courses with the Escudo.
 
Not my favorite car but I like it still, its a keeper!!
 
If the Pikes Peak race was included then it should be in!. However in normal races it isn't much fun to drive. And it allows ppl to gain cheap wins on tracks where you can bounce off the walls (super speedway, test, tokyo etc..)

So werner, by not handling very realistically are you eluding to the fact that you've driven the Escudo in real life?


I agree with all of the above. In GT2 the Escudo rocked... Could toast most cars pretty easily, but alas in GT3 it's been crippled. I do use it in the Test Track races though... Get's going really fast pretty quick.
 
I used it to win many races, but then found other cars a lot more fun... i can easily get it to turn, and i have had success tuning it, but this fact worked to my disadvantage, since I could easily cream the competition, and ended up playing "push the AI" during most of my races (Yes, even in Pro mode). If I wish to play "push the AI," it's a lot more fun with F1 cars. :D
 
i like it cause its fun to do wheelies in. but it has practically no steering which is a big difference compared to the gt2 escudo which kicked ass!!
 
Yea, exatclky. This car sucks. Its sucks in rally, sucks in road, sucks in everything but accelleration. Top Speed is good but i can get my gt1 faster.
 
Don't dis the escudo. I think it is an awesome car-even though it isn't the best its a good all around vehicle.
