Is it just me or are my settings all tweaked out incorrectly or does the Escudo suck ars in handling?  I enter a endurance race with this car and a friggin Celica can hang with me?  I cant even turn around a 10 deg. corner without hitting the wall, sup wit dat shiz...  Anyone who posts that my driving skills suck can F O, yes I have my S license so...... you figure it out.....

much HP + little weight = massive weight transfer ---> front tires off ground ---> no turning

Even at low speeds under deceleration, the 'scud understeers. I'm gonna hafta fix that....

Look man it isnt you. At first when I got GT3 I wanted that car so bad. I won all Rally races and was majorly dissapointed. The 'Scud sucks. That car has the least amount of miles of all my cars. If I could tweek this car the right way to where it handles well I might use it. Only thing is I dont have ENOUGH tweeking skills. The 'Scud sucks period. :(

Try this,

Springs 13F, 12.5R
Ride Height, lowest
Shocks 7F, 7R
Camber 2F, 2R
Toe 0F, 0R
Stabilizers, 4F, 4R
Gears, Whatever you need for track length
Downforce .82F, 1.01R
ASM off
TCS 1
VCD 45%

Still a handful to drive, but if you use the throttle lightly around tight corners, should get your lap times up there.

Escudo: waste of a valuable spot on the car list for anything else... much like the F1s...

worst thing is, there were 2 of these useless Hillclimb cars in GT2

ok, there was the Pikes Peak Course, but that's the only function they had...

My Scud flies and flips and does all kinds of neat little tricks. I've
gotten him do do back flips in the dirt coming off jumps. He' s
quite the athlete. But he SUCKS when it comes to racing.

I used the Escudo for a couple of arcade rally races, but that's it. I use it for the occasional Test Course race. Going 285-290 makes that race shorter.... :banghead:

Othat than that, it can't really be used for anything else. Just get you a nice sensible car to use for street racing. :burnout:

290? :thatsodd:

Guess you haven't heard of the wheelie trick my friend! :)

I got my Escudo to 1100+ MPH and my GT-one Race Car 1300+ MPH! :D

Come on guys! Stop driving it with the throttle maxed out and it'll do just fine. I've got mine tuned for rally racing right now and I can handle it pretty well. You just have to go easy on the gas.

i drive full throttle and win rallies with ease...you can take out the entire rally races within a few hours

Yeah, but do you keep it off the walls? We like to keep it mildly realistic (:

The Escudo is good for some of the races, but it's a real dog in Tahiti Maze. All those corners are hard on its overly turbo-happy engines.

Hey I actually have done the wheelie trick with my Escudo. Sad to say this, but I would still finish the race faster on Test Course without the wheelie trick.

The reason for this is simple. When I get on the straights, I get around 400-500 mph. The bad part is, I only get about 217 in the corners because of riding the wall and absolutely no tire gripping whatsoever. So after going fast, slowing way down, then accelerating again, that takes more time than just cruising at 290....

Get it...???? :burnout:

And thanks for the props on legitimately racing it.... :D

Escudo is not good. It used to be good in GT2 (it was the best car in the game actually), but in gt3 it is quite useless without tuning...it has shocking turbo lag...it understeers too much on tarmac...it spins too easily on gravel
