Hi just got going again (after finding my PS2 under a pile of crap in my room) at GT3 and have purchased my third car; Lotus Esprit 350.

Iv set it up to the best of my knowledge but am still encountering problems with the cornering. I find that I have to pretty much stop the car to go around courners.

Any ways could any one offer my any advise about the cornering situation and any advise about tuning it to the max. At the Mo. its currently stands at around 1084 BHP Iv heard that some one got their's to 2000BHP!?!?!

Plus also can I beat a maxed out RUF RGT on the 400klm and 1000klm staight? Is it possible.

Sorry there is a lot of queations but im a keen bean to get going again!

Thanks MentalMetal

The 350 is a very easy car to drive... You've simply got too much horsepower... the Esprit does very nicely at around 600-700hp. what are your settings at right now?

They're having you on. 1089bhp is the most it can get up to.

Almost anything with over 1000 hp is going to be a bit much to try to corner. I assume you've got something other than stock tires under it? Because it's going to be a handful on T5s, let alone regular tires.

Welcome to GTPlanet!

Iv purchased some T4's for when im racing and the super sticky ones for the straight line 400 /1000klm drag.
I'll have to check my settings later when im at home (at the lady's at the mo) so watch this space!

plenty of negative camber, my mate has one that turns pretty well (for a 1088hp car) and we're running like 6 degrees on the front. i've been meaning to get the settings off him, will do soon

Here's a set-up that I used a couple of years ago that did rather well - it's for a maxed out Lotus Esprit (but I can't remember what tyres it was on I'm sad to say (probably quite soft compund I would guess)).

It'll work for either the SE or 350 models (bear in mind tho' that the Esprit was never designed to handle such astronomical HP and driving it will always be somewhat akin to trying to wrestle a shark :D).

Springs: 9.1/12.0
Ride: 89/89
Damper B: 3/6
Damper R: 6/9
Camber: 2.7/1.8
Toe: -0.5/+1.0
Stabs: 3/3
Brakes: 16/13
LSD: 9/36/18
ASM: 0
TCS: 1

Lap Times for Apricot Hill:

Esprit SE - 1:10.555
Esprit 350 - 1:10.323

Hope that gives you a little help anyhow.

I carn't really give any advice but I can give the settings I use...

Spring Rate 11.3 13.5
Ride Hight 94 94
Damper Bound 4 4
Damper Rebound 7 7

Camber angle 0.8 0.8
Toe Angle 0.0 0.0
Stabiliser 6 6

Brake Bal 9 9
LSD settings 0 10
0 50
0 30

Gearing Final setting 4.000
Auto Setting 42
ASM 0
TCS 2

With that setup I managed to get a 1'13.xxx at Laguna Seca and a top speed of 436.1kmh which works out at about 270 mph. Fully tuned with 1036BHP throught the rear wheels... I challenge anyone to use those setting.... credit to me and my uncle for this one and if ya like this then ya might want to try out my Aston V12 Vanquish setup.

I also have a replay of the Laguna lap as an X-port file and as a .dot max file if anyone would like to rate my driving with the Logitech wheel, feel free to ask and I'll drag the files of the other PC.

BTW: I'm sure this is the fastest top speed car in the game with these settings without cheating... could be wrong.
