Hey guys. Need some help here...
A few months ago there was a storm here and somehow my Ethernet card died. Since then i've been connected to my motorola cable modem through USB. it works, but it's not too fast.
Now the real problem is that comcast gave me a new modem (arris) and also i picked up a new ethernet card. I tried goin back to using the ethernet card but it won't connect to the net now. If i switch back to USB, it works fine. When i have it hooked up through the card, i see the computer gets an IP but doesnt get a gateway and just hangs.
any help is appreciated. i hope this made sense.
