i thought they imposed a 12 roll over limit? maybe that was just temporary, untill the huge jackpot was won.... If it reached the limit, the next tier of winners would share it. By which i mean people, most probably, with 5 normal balls and a star ball.

Yes, I believe this is true - not that it would have helped me much anyway - four lines and not one solitary number between them... I think you should get a prize if you buy more than three lines and somehow manage to avoid picking any right ones at all - the chances must be fairly slim...

 Jesus TM thats quite an achievment!!

I think GTP should have a monthly lottery, the jackpot, a month of premium.

If no-one won by the 10th of Feb then it would do the next tier thing.

But from now on it's max of 3 roll overs I think.

In Canada we have lotteries that occasionally get big. A few months ago there was one for almost $20 million Canadian, and of course I bought a ticket like every other brainwashed zombie in the country, but I for some reason thought it was only for my province, when in fact it was a national draw. That put me off lottery tickets for good. Never again. The odd cash for life, maybe.

At least you get to keep it here, unlike in the States.

I think our Powerball's up to little around $180 million? I bought my 2 bucks worth, but I probably didn't win(drawing was Saturday). :D From what I've heard, there is a penalty for choosing the lump sum, which is about the 50% of the jackpot. Then the government will tax you for another 50% on what you got left. I don't know how accurate it is, but I always figure the "real" jackpot is 1/4 of the advertised jackpot.

Oh I know, it's out of control down there. Although 1/4 of $180 million is still $45 million, which is VERY rare for a jackpot in Canada. So I guess it all evens out...

3 people have shared the Euro Millions Jackpot, 2 from France and 1 from Portugal.

Congratulations to them I guess...
