Doing this race now, anyone know why there is a ford rs2000 and a ford ST in the race?

They're both European..

Ford may be American but those cars are European so they are in it.

The thing is you aren't allowed to race the Focus ST in the European hot hatch race.

The European Focus is an entirely different car designed by Ford's European arm. It has nothing to do with the N. American spec Focus, thus, it is of European heritage and therefore European.

Also, unless I'm mistaken, the N. American Focus is usually an imported last-gen Euro Focus... we lag one generation behind them up until the upcoming new one debuts simultaneously on both continents in a year or two.
